This week we were taught more on social media, so what exactly is social media you may ask? Well, like i stated in my first post, its things like blogs, facebook and second life. I'm quite sure many of you are quite familiar with facebook and blogs but second life is actually massive! In fact, its asia branch is located in Singapore, fun fact of the week.

Blogs have now been impowered, here are a few "Well known blogs" in Singapore.

Mr Brown - Not my cup of tea, but still one of the favourites.

The start of the module COM 125

So yes, this is my first entry of my Com 125 blog. I remember in the past having a blog but its very well dead now. It use to be what i would call my "ranting ground", a place where i let all my emotions run, a place of sheer release of anger and frustration. Maybe after the module COM 125 is over, i would use this blog to update my friends about my life.

Blogs have now become a very different thing of the past, It use to be a private place where people update their friends of their lives. Now it has become a massive social media alongside Facebook and Myspace dominating the internet world.

In the first week so far, we have learnt about the history about the internet. Im really glad the founder of the internet didn't patent he invention of html, i simply cannot imagine the amount we all would have to pay. After the History, the basic knowledge of the internet was shown, such as TCP/IP and networks that link the internet up. As the course goes on, more pictures and videos will cover my blog. But thats all for now!
